Founder
Omar El Sherif, Architectural Interior Designer, who was born in Cairo, Egypt in 1991. Graduated from the College of Modern Engineering and Technology in 2013/2014, Omar expanded his skill set by obtaining a PMP business management diploma from the PMI International Institute in 2023.
Omar’s professional journey commenced as an architect in the construction sector, where he gets the chance to train and work with leading companies like Meamar Al Mansour, Al Nasr Engineering Co. and Al Mohandes Company, In several residential, commercial and managerial gov. projects. However, he always envisioned a different type of work, one where he could leave a significant imprint on his artistic vision. This led him to specialize in architecture and interior design. Fortunate to work alongside influential figures such as Engineer Mahmoud Riad at RiadArchitecture, the late Engineer Ashraf Azab at CREATION for Interiors and engineering solutions, and Engineer Ahmed Rabie at ATRIUM Design, Omar’s perspective evolved through diverse projects in Egypt and internationally, including countries in the Gulf region.
In 2019, Omar’s vision crystallized as he established his own brand. His goal was to showcase his talent and artistry in interior design and home decor, intending to enhance lives through thoughtful designs. He aimed to integrate natural artistic elements and his knowledge of the space energy relationships into his design philosophy.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Omar is deeply fascinated by history and ancient civilizations. The impact of ancient Egyptian and Greek civilizations, in particular, has been profound on his work. The Greek goddess “Hestia,” the deity of the hearth, caught his attention during his exploration of her life and influence. Recognizing her role in providing warmth and stability to households, Hestia became the muse behind the inception of Hestia Designs.
